Trust Your Instincts
Milan Slak’s goal at Concannon, Miller & Co. is simple: “To be my client’s trusted tax advisor.” He adds that when making good business decisions, it’s important to “consider everything relevant, apply logic, and trust your instincts.”

A Healthy Balance…
Milan says that balance is important to both one’s work and personal life, and he tries to maintain healthy relationships between his roles as a husband, father, provider, professional, and individual. He lists the births of his two daughters as the most exciting moments in his life.

…With Family First
Family is of high importance to Milan, and he says that if he were stranded on a desert island, he would most want his wife and daughters with him. His most prized possession is his father’s chess set, the one they played with when Milan was a young child.

Outside the Office
Outside of work, Milan spends time running, hiking, and reading, with Sole Survivor being his favorite book. He also enjoys watching the Steelers. His favorite vacation was the one he took in Cancun in 2000 with his wife-to-be. Milan volunteers his time coaching soccer for the Lower Macungie Township Youth Association.

Milan has been with Concannon, Miller & Co. since 2007.
